Brapps LLC — QuickBooks Online Connector

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Brapps LLC ("Brapps," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information processed by the Brapps QuickBooks Online Connector (the "App"). The App is a private, internal integration tool that synchronizes data from a client's Odoo ERP system into their QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. It is not available to the general public and is deployed only for authorized client businesses under a separate service agreement.

2. Data We Access

To perform the synchronization, the App accesses the following data from the client's Odoo instance and writes it to the client's QuickBooks Online company:

Customer invoice records (invoice number, date, due date, line items, totals)
Customer information (name, billing address, email address)
Payment terms associated with invoices
Chart of accounts mappings (Odoo account codes and names)
Inventory valuation journal entries (category-level asset and COGS amounts)

All data accessed belongs exclusively to the client business. Brapps does not collect, store, analyze, or retain this data beyond what is required for transmission in real time.

3. How We Use Data

Data accessed through the App is used solely to:

Create or update invoices in the client's QuickBooks Online company
Post inventory valuation journal entries to the client's QuickBooks Online company
Log sync status and error messages within the client's Odoo instance

We do not use client data for any purpose other than performing the integration services described above. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer client data to any third party.

4. QuickBooks Online API Access

The App connects to QuickBooks Online using Intuit's OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. Access tokens are stored within the client's Odoo database and are used only to write data on behalf of the authorized QBO company. The App requests only the minimum scopes required: accounting read and write access for the client's own company.

5. Data Storage and Security

No client data is stored on Brapps servers or infrastructure. All data resides within the client's own Odoo instance (hosted on Odoo.sh) and QuickBooks Online account. OAuth tokens are encrypted in transit and stored only within the client's Odoo database, subject to Odoo.sh's security controls.

We employ commercially reasonable security measures consistent with industry standards to protect against unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction of data during transmission.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share client data with any third party except:

Intuit/QuickBooks Online — as the destination system of the integration, solely to deliver the client's own data to their own account.
As required by law — if compelled by a valid legal order.

7. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for ensuring that their use of the App, including the data they sync through it, complies with all applicable laws and regulations. Brapps processes data only as directed by the client through their Odoo configuration.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above will be updated to reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
